Story: The oldest is that of a roofing tiler who fell to his death from one of the towers in 1450. As he came outside Bremen, his coffin was placed in the Lead cellar where his working material had been stored,Lead sheeting from the roof. Few years later, his coffin was rediscovered, having been forgotten about, it was opened and the body was found to be merely mummified.  Blah Blah Blah…… Lead cellar proved to have the property of conserving dead bodies by desiccation.
